About The Kings Ball...
This year 2012 marks The Kings Ball Championships 18th Anniversary. This Championship originated in Brooklyn for the sake of 200 junior competitors to be able to compete close to home so as not to incur the expense of an out of town competition. It also allowed their parents and grandparents to see them competing for the 1st time. This impart is the reason for no entry fee to the ballroom for competitors, and a reasonable spectator fee.

The merriment is contagious,
Dee Kanevsky
